XAOC, GOD OF | |||||
| |||||
APPEARANCE How the Culture Perceives Him: Once the god/goddess of Order and Justice, the world of the mortals fell upon ruin when Xaoc made war inevitable for them. In his words so long ago before the insanity set in, he said "From chaos comes order", so that is how he is perceived. His followers know him to be a strange god who delves far too much in humanity. They see him as he wishes them to see him. He does change far too much for any realistic image of him to be put up, so they have went to make statues of him in the shape of a crow or black bird or sorts. Sometimes it varies between a raven or a crow. In his temple, however, he does have a human-like statue of him that is fairly close to his appearance, but with the representation of a cat tail and feathers in his hair rather than a crow. His statues, even from ancient times have been always so serious, nothing like the god/goddess some choose to follow. His clothes vary from temple to temple, but mostly they are robes that hang around him. They always see him as a male as well. Though the god/goddess of chaos changes between genders quite often to mess with those around him. How He Actually appears:For the mortals who think that Xaoc is a bird, are so very wrong. However, what the temples got is somewhat right. He appears as a man (sometimes a woman if he feels he needs to spice things up) and wears clothes that tend to show off his body when around the other gods and goddesses. However, when he is around mortals, he dresses up for the occassion in a suit that sometimes ends up with weird colors depending upon his mood. His tail still shows within the suit and the feathers never leave his hair when he changes form to suit his needs. He/she, is a god full of contradictions. His eyes are blue-gray with long white hair that has white feathers in it as well. Sometimes he changes his eye color to two different ones or even changes his form to something else entirely. This god is never complacent with just one form. However, the form with him as a man with a tail and feathers in his hair is the actual one he had at the start.
PERSONALITY
POSITIVE ATTRIBUTES - Does involve himself with the mortals more often than not, and tends to come when called or prayed for. However, the expected result isn't to be hoped for since he is the god of chaos afterall. - He tends to be on the more easy going side than the other gods and goddesses. He does not get upset easily and actually likes to talk rather than fight. - If asked, he will perform one favor provided that the person that called for him pays him a service of making him laugh or giving him something that he likes (sweets and clothes usually do the trick). NEGATIVE ATTRIBUTES - He sees mortals as simply playthings and nothing more than that. They are his chess pieces in his game of his immortal live. - He gets distracted easily if the person he is with is boring him. - He is insane since the constant contradiction of himself is always at odds with one another. - He's a bad joke teller and does love bad jokes. - He is one of the stronger deities, but tends to downplay his power quite a bit due to his personality and mental instability. WEAKNESSES - He cannot help but play games if asked. He adores playing games and will do so until he is satisfied or bored. - He is a sucker for cake. Don't ask, he just loves it.
VERY BRIEF HISTORY From the beginning of time, Chaos has been there just in different forms and names. From Chaos comes Order, and then once order has been exhausted or strained too much, then chaos reigns again. Xaoc has always been a more laid back deity, wanting nothing more than to keep mortals on their toes with tricks and mischief he causes every so often. He was once the God of Order, keeping his title in what he thought was the proper way to view himself as. He was a proper gentleman who did his job or keeping order and chaos at a balance. However, the prospect of having both chaos and order within him did drive the deity insane from an early time. He has since walked through life after he changed his ways to now call himself the God/Goddess of Chaos. He views Chaos and Order to be two halves to make up a whole and as such continues to keep the contradicting morals inside of him. He has always delved into the lives of mortals, keeping up with them and causing things to happen here and there that otherwise would not have happened without him. He spends his days doing as he pleases. Do you wish to invite the God/Goddess of chaos and order into your home or perhaps even your life? Just remember, chaos and order go hand in hand, you can't have one without the other.
Religious Sect Preferred Sacrifices: Generally, Xaoc is not picky on what his followers offer him due to his ever changing mindset. However, he does do a lot for sweets and laughter. More often than not, he will just ask for someone to make him laugh. The old god has been around for so long that sometimes laughter is hard to come by if not done by himself. Most Common Followers: Due to the God of Chaos and Order's brief set of rules concerning his own laws of nature, he does not really have a set set of followers. Those that follow Xaoc sometimes of just as insane themselves, but there are people who are sound of mind that do follow him. Those that have jobs where they are judge or oversee a lot of people tend to look to this god for guidance since he does rule over 'order' as well as 'chaos' making him a balance. Overall, there could be people from all walks of life that worship Xaoc and not bat an eye. Possible Blessings/Gifts: -Quick Fix: This will allow Xaoc to 'quick fix' one mistake or past event in a person's life to make it different. The difference is up to chance, however, and can either make the user's life worse or better. Effect is temporary, lasts only 48 hours. -Race Change: With his powers of chaos and order, he can change a person's race if they so choose. If they choose not to go ahead with this, then nothing will happen. Effect is permanent. Can only change twice. -Gender Change: Kinda self-explanatory. The person is changed to the opposite sex for 48 hours. Effect is temporary and will change back at midnight. -Gender Change II: Same as before, but the effect this time is permanent. Must go through the first stage to get this one. -Chaos Roulette: depending upon what is rolled, the user will get an ability of that race or an upgrade to one already in place. 1) Human Ability 2) Hunter Ability 3) Cyborg Ability (if not able to gain cyborg ability, then upgrade one ability you already have) 4) Upgrade one Existing ability (if Cyborg, just choose another ability from the list in the race page) 5) Nothing gained. 8) Downgrade one ability
