Personality overall
Since there a different sides of Mable, I decided to just break it down bit by bit.
The outside:
Mable comes across as a calm-mannered girl who tends to keep to herself. Some would assume that she is shy, but in a way that is not completely correct. Since she didn't have much contact with others growing up, the Magi naturally developed a habit to avoid bothering others unless she needs them or they need her. In a way she is alright with this. Being by herself does not bother her, nor does she mind being the observant wallflower. There are a lot of things she can learn by people watching, so she will usually peek over her books to silently study social mannerisms among others. In all honesty, her social skills are a bit sub-par. This is main reason why she isn't that outgoing towards others. However, Mable absolutely loves cyborgs and androids so much that she usually forgets her awkwardness when speaking with them.
On a side note, when people do see her they usually mistake her for a stoic/careless kind of person.
The Inside:
When you get to know Mable she is a pretty comical person. Her care free nature stays true, but it is now intertwined with various traits that make her stand out. For starters, the girl is a bit of a cynic in a humorous kind of way. She isn't the kind of person that has nothing positive to say, yet she is also the kind of person who is not afraid to choose logic over blind hope. One example to best describe this is to say that Mable is that person at a wedding who makes bets to see how long the newlyweds will last before the divorce party. Lets face it, life can be cruel, predictable, and funny all at once. Another part of her that remains strong is her snarky attitude. If people give her lip then she will return it in kind, or it may be done in good humor. Either way, she doesn't mind being a little ballsy or stubborn from time to time. This usually goes hand in hand with a slightly crude twist that she adds to her jesting. Don't be surprised if she bluntly drops a sexual comment about you, but be aware that if you drop one of your own it can really catch her off guard--resulting in a red face or tied tongue. She is a pervert that really doesn't get around much. In addition, any kind of affection will result in the same uncertain response. She isn't used to it so she really doesn't know how to react beyond freezing up and looking like a

appearance
Sadly, even from afar most can tell that Mable is definitely not human. Her height is slightly taller, being close to 5'9, and her form is fairly petite with generous curves. As for her notable features, the girl is easily identified by her ridiculously long, teal painted hair that she ties up into twin tails with ribbons. Along with this, she has smooth, light colored skin that is decorated with gleaming, blue scales gathered in clusters on various parts of her body. These alone do not bring much attention, but the fins that emerge from her skin tend to draw the most wandering eyes. The light aqua appendages start at her neck, curling down to her collarbones like miniature little fans. Then they disappear at the bone, and emerge on both sides of her forearms and calves.
Despite her obvious physical mutations, some can agree that Mable is a pretty in her own odd sort of way. Her calm, turquoise colored eyes hold a kind of peacefulness in them that many don’t see in magi with her type of past. Most mistake it for innocence, but that is surely not the case. Once she is provoked, her irises take on a darker hue that reveals the colder side of her. However, it is rare that those buttons are ever pushed. So, most will come to see her as a young woman with a sleek silhouette, and bizarre features.
Although, it is worth mentioning that she does wrap her right forearm with cloth. This is so she can hide her serial number branded into her skin, and she gets a little touchy if someone mentions it.
Fashion
The Magi’s wardrobe seems to be mainly focused on business-like attire to compliment her mature personality. However, her clothing choice does teeter on the side of professionalism and something you would wear in a movie about a high school filled with zombies. To start off, her tops usually consist of black vests with white button down shirts underneath and a tie neatly tucked in. Sometimes she will wear a dark suit top to hide her arms. Then, at other times, she chooses to opt out on the sleeves, but wear long black gloves to hide her fins. Moving on down, the girl will almost always sport a coal-colored skirt with dark stockings creeping halfway up her thighs; These are usually paired with calf-high, leather boots that help conceal her strange appendages. Thus, giving her an interesting outfit that she sports during work. When out of work, Mable might be seen wearing dresses from time to time. Yet, even those usually serve to flatter her form rather than appear cute and cuddly.

biography
At age five, Mable was abducted by an association that focused on conducting experiments on Magi children. The testing facility, as well as the company, were kept hidden from the public and were highly specialized in keeping their tracks nonexistent. Meaning, that most of the parents tended to disappear along with the children, or were paid handsomely. In her case, it was unclear what happened to the girl’s parents the day she was taken. She only knew that their existence would fade in time with her memories.
When first entering the experimentation labs the children usually underwent testing to see how developed their magic had become. At a young age most kids didn’t have much potential, and were branded with an identification number on their arm. This was not entirely awful, but the housing conditions tended to be psychologically straining. Every child was kept in small cells with the basic necessities for surviving. Socializing with others were prohibited in most circumstances. For Mable, contact with other children came five years later in the form of pitted matches. In those matches she would face up against other magi around her age, and continuously lose. Beating after beating proved the girl to be worthless to the point where not many scientists wanted to waste their time with her. Many of them agreed to throw her out onto the streets to die until one, young professor decided to take Mable as her own personal lab rat.
Dr. Inoue was not entirely a cruel woman. When she first received Mable under her care she gave her slightly better living conditions in her lab, and the food was more substantial. The serial number name that she was given as a child was tossed aside as she labeled her ‘Experiment X’ instead. It wasn’t a big difference, but slightly better than before in her mind—not that she liked the Doctor at first. When the woman tried to inject her with substances she refused, fighting back any way possible. Eventually Dr. Inoue grew tired of it, and decided to make a deal with her. If she cooperated with her experiments, she would teach her how to read, write, and basic mathematics so that when she released her she could live a normal life. At first she thought the offer to be a load of crap, feeling that she would never be released. Yet, there wasn’t anything she could really do. She was going to experiment on her one way or another. Why not get something out of it?
With the new deal set in place, Experiment X grew to live somewhat contently with the scientist. The injections continued, but Dr. Inoue would usually explain what was being injected as well as the expected side effects. In addition, as years passed, the girl began excelling in all the topics that the Dr. had taught her. Knowledge of Biology, chemistry, technology, and Medical studies were absorbed at a rapid rate. There got to a point in the studies where the magi would even suggest new chemical combinations to be tested on her, just to see how high her tolerance had grown. This was still very painful, but it also helped her build up a strong immunity to certain pathogens and drugs.
At the age of seventeen, it was thought that Mable had developed a case of Stockholm syndrome for the professor. All feelings of hatred or misery seemed to be replaced with positive emotions that allowed her to empathize with Dr. Inoue. It was weird to say the least, but Mable didn’t think much of it. A childhood full of torture and loneliness had made her almost desperate for affection. All she focused on was impressing her captor-soaking up all the knowledge that she had to offer. This eventually led to a somewhat romantic affair between the two. Both being introverted beings, they related in a way, or at least that is what she believed. Honestly, it didn’t matter for the whole thing proved useful in the end. As the affair continued the experiments grew less frequent, which led Mable to believe that her captor had finally developed a kind of trust for her. This was the Doctors one foolish mistake. As much as the Magi cared for the Doctor, her desire for freedom was that much stronger. So, as soon as the moment presented it's self, Mable escaped the facility without looking back.
After being set free into the city, the magi wandered the streets helplessly until stumbling upon a businessman by the name of Benedict Church. He took her in, gave her a home in return for her undying loyalty and service. With his resources she learned more than what her professor had to offer—giving her bodies to sharpen her medical skills on, the name Mable instead of ‘Experiment X, knowledge on technology, and an underground lab to play in. By the age of 25 she gained the experience she needed to open up shop to become an unlicensed underground Doctor for convicts, drug addicts, and gang members who could not go to hospitals to treat their injuries without suspicion. This reeled in more money for Benedict, while also letting him gain a very trustworthy assistant during the day. Mable’s gift with numbers allowed her to master basic paperwork with ease. She lived happily ever after, the end.
